Working at home has awakened the sleeping dog in me. Is that possible? I miss the interaction with other people. I love working from home. I love making money to stay home and review documents. I love reading blogs and when I take a break I love watching The New Adventures of Old Christine reruns on Lifetime Television for Women.
But lately I'm lacking the intrinsic motivation to get up. To go. To be. To do. Wake UP!!!

Please remember, as you enjoy this journal entry, that I was 12 years old. And Jeff? He was 11 years old. Apparently even then I had very high expectations for how a young man was supposed to treat me. And Beth, my younger sister? She was 10. I wonder what ever happened to her boyfriend Rod?

Living with Mora and Rob... the Good, the Bad, and the Sexy
Marriage and Relationship Monday
The three of us have been sharing this house now for more than 4 months. Mora is in love with the boy she was casually dating when she left California, Turner. He came out here to visit and they've been hot and heavy ever since. She has brought a sexuality to the house that wasn't here before. She's young and gorgeous and sexy and fabulous. Do I have a fear that she will draw the eye of my Rob? Yes. Instead, the sexually charged environment means more affection for me. I get lots of physical attention from Mora; she and I have always had that girl-on-girl grabby friendship. "Is that a new bra? Lemmee see! OOoooh, your boobs are fab!"
Rob has morphed into Mora's older brother/father figure. I have to remember that he's 21 years older than she. And he's faithful to me.
Mora got a job. She's down in Montgomery doing her training. So Rob and I have the house to ourselves this week. Rob's over the sinus infection he had and he took the opportunity to do all sorts of grown-up things to me the second she left town.

$623.19 Deposited in my Checking Account
Finance and Frugality Friday
How great that I had a surprise deposit in my checking account today! My new company offers a Flex Spending Account so that I can get "reimbursed" for medical expenses that aren't covered by insurance. Every paycheck they withhold a small amount of my money before taxes. Then I fill out a form and submit receipts for health care items that Rob or I have made. This is the first time I've used it. My $350 dental night guard and two pairs of eyeglasses added up to $623.19.
Now I understand that I already spent this money. I had to pay for these items out of pocket weeks and weeks ago. But how nice to fill out a form and get the money from pre-tax dollars that I've earned! We can use the money for co-pays or chiropractic care and I think maybe even for over the counter allergy meds and such.
What on earth am I going to do with this money? Buy new shoes and some clothes for our trip to London and Paris in a couple of weeks. Yahoo!!!
